The very young and reductive 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Cipreses Vineyard was a bit hard to read, as it needed time in the glass to open up. They say it's a combination of old and new world styles, with ripeness, elegance and minerality. It has a little more volume than the Cartagena from the same year, and the 10% of the volume that matured in barrel for four months seems to have added a little more depth and nuance. It has herbal and citrus notes and a refreshing palate with pungent flavors and vibrant acidity, finishing dry and long. It's simply superb. 24,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2020. This should develop nicely in bottle.
