Ripe but bright cherry, plum and red currant lead on this high-toned and appealing Cab. The fruit is backed by scrubby Aussie bush characters like wild sage, myrtle and dusty earth. Medium weight with lifted acidity, the mouthfeel is slippery in texture with well-structured, savory tannins. There's some alcohol warmth, too. Christina Pickard
